Patience & Flexibility Please

2009-10-29

We do not want to dissapoint any of our clients but there are times when we have no choice. Handling puppies is not a fixed science.  Before we can deliver a puppy, we have to coordinate many factors.  We are at the mercy of veterinary schedules, airline schedules & availability, suppliers, weather conditions & our own personal schedules. This is assuming the puppies are healthy and ready to deliver. Puppies are not the most hygenic creatures and share everything just like in a baby daycare setting.  They put anything in their mouths no matter where it has been. Sometimes after the best of care, they will contract parasites, viral infections and other common kennel maladies.  We WILL NOT deliver a sick puppy no matter how much you think you can give it the care it needs so please do not ask.  We only ask that you have the patience and flexibility for us to judge when it is safe for the puppy to be delivered and coordinate all the above mentioned points when it does come time to deliver your puppy.  We will do our best to hit the times you request but sometimes it just will not work out.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Weight Building Recipe

2009-10-16

I would rather be outside in this gorgeous weather but…

We discovered a weight building recipe the other day.  I tried it and weight just seemed to come on the pup before our eyes.  There is nothing in the recipe that will harm your puppy or convelescing dog so give it a try.

1 qt. goat’s milk, 1 pint plain yogurt, 1 pint cottage cheese, 2-4 raw eggs.  Blend well and feed twice a day for 1 week.  Continue to offer the dry kibble in addition to the new recipe.  You should be able to see results within a day or two.  You can add 1 lb. raw hamburger meet to the recipe after 1 week.  Taper off the new mixture once your puppy or dog has reached it’s desired weight.  Use as needed.

Well, hope this works for you.

Until later.

Long Awaited Update

2008-03-28

Okay, I’m not the best blogger, probably the worst if truth be known!  But I am a world class procrastinator.   It should never take a year and a half to write a note but my family does not think this is unusual for me! :>)

So I’ll use this note to say that I’m back in the game and watch for other notes on interesting, useable topics.

Thank you for visiting.

New Litters Expected Starting Middle of January

2006-12-14

We are being blessed with many bitches in heat this year. We have 4 bitches that have been bred and it looks like they all may have taken. The first litter is expected the middle of January and the other 3 follow in 2 week intervals. These are white or white factored dogs so we will have multi colored litters, hopefully all five colors will be represented. We’re accepting deposits of $200 now so get on the list if you want your choice of color, sex and quality of puppy. I’ve posted pictures of the pairs and will post the pups pictures at 2 weeks of age.

Thank you for visiting our web site.

Only Two White Males Left To Find Homes!!

2006-10-09

Some great people have given new homes to most of our pups. We feel good about all of them. We’ve heard back from them and all the pups are doing great and seem to be settled in to their new homes just fine. We’re still trying to find homes for two white brothers. Their pictures are in the gallery under ‘Pups Available’. The whitest one (black collar) we’ve nicknamed Ice because he’s so white. His brother (red collar) we haven’t come up with a name. He’s a beautiful cream color, almost golden. His white markings really stand out with his darker body white. Help us think of a name for him. We’d appreciate it.Thanks,
